Gender Non-Conformity and Utopia

What is utopia? Is it a place, a feeling, a way of thinking? Is it an ideal or a reality? Do we strive towards it or can it be achieved? These are questions that I ask myself whenever I think about the future. The only answers I’ve come up with so far mark utopia as something to reach toward. It is not a place nor is it truly achievable because it is perfection in the purest sense. The follow-up to this thought process then begs, well what is in the reaching?
